Akrual: Jurnal Akuntansi, Ekonomi, dan Bisnis conducts plagiarism screening on all submitted manuscripts to maintain originality, academic integrity, and the quality of scholarly publications.

Each submitted manuscript is checked using Turnitin during the initial screening stage before proceeding to the peer-review process.

Plagiarism Screening Policy

1. All submitted manuscripts must be original works of the authors and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. Manuscripts are screened using Turnitin to identify similarities with published works, documents, and other academic sources.
3. The Turnitin similarity report is one of the factors considered by the editor when determining whether a manuscript is suitable to proceed to the peer-review process.
4. Similarity results are evaluated substantively by the editor. A similarity score does not automatically indicate plagiarism, as legitimate quotations, references, technical terms, and other acceptable text may contribute to the similarity score.
5. If plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are suspected, the editor may request clarification or revision from the authors, reject the manuscript, or take other appropriate action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.
6. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's standards of originality and academic integrity may be rejected without proceeding to peer review.

Authors are fully responsible for the originality and academic integrity of manuscripts submitted to Akrual: Jurnal Akuntansi, Ekonomi, dan Bisnis.
